Ocean Beach Consulting works with organizations to develop their human capital. Through Talent Development initiatives, we partner with our clients to produce improved performance results. We also partner with a high-quality network of instructional and graphic designers, facilitators, executive coaches, as well as digital media and print production resources to fulfill our clients’ custom needs.

We focus on making a difference for our most important customers – the participants themselves. Our areas of expertise are leadership and communication skill development, and we deliver integrated solutions that create positive change. Our goal is to always go beyond the “one and done” classroom experience.

Changing behavior requires gaining new knowledge and skills, consistently applying them to situations that matter, and getting feedback on the positive impact of the new behavior. While gaining new knowledge and skills can come from a training session, application and feedback has to occur back on the job for the new behavior to stick. Starting with the participants’ real world goals, we develop solutions that engage them in dynamic experiences that provide them with new knowledge relevant to their challenge and support them in following through with the application of their new knowledge. This is what builds capability!


Owner, Kelly Dozois

For over 20 years, Kelly Dozois has worked with large international companies to support the implementation of their business strategies through the design and development of training and organization development solutions. Her areas of focus are leadership and communication skill development. She believes in collaborating to design integrated performance improvement solutions that are business relevant and demonstrate a clear return on investment.

She designs and facilitates world-class leadership development programs and provides targeted executive coaching that produces immediate impact. Some of her client highlights include Apple, Nike, Verisign, Salesforce, Cargill, Guidewire, Levi Strauss & Co., Dutch, and The Gap.

Prior to founding Ocean Beach Consulting, Ms. Dozois was Vice President of Human Resource Development for the Gap Corporation, where she was responsible for the development of 160,000 employees worldwide and the executive development of senior management. She spearheaded the design and development of Gap’s Executive Leadership Development Program and Targeted Executive Development process. She also initiated Gap Inc.’s Organization Development department, with a focus on designing change management strategies to maximize multimillion-dollar technology investments.

Prior to the Gap, Ms. Dozois was Regional Director for an international management consulting firm specializing in Leadership/ Management and Sales and Service training solutions. Ms. Dozois holds an MS in Educational Technology and a BS in Health Science from San Diego State University. She is also certified as an executive coach.
